PMI-ACP® Certification Process
We can split the PMI ACP certification requirements in 5 step.
Step 1 – Complete and submit the online application form.
It is necessary to inform your personal data and describe your professional experience.
As soon as the candidate starts filling, the information must be sent within 90 days.
Step 2 – PMI® evaluates the submitted data (within 10 days).
Then the payment is released.
Step 3 – There is an audit process right after payment. The candidate must then submit the requested documents.
The maximum time for submission is 90 days.
Step 4 – Scheduling the PMI-ACP certification exam.
The candidate has up to 1 year after passing Step 1.
Step 5 – After passing the exam, the professional receives the PMI-ACP credential
The PMI-ACP® Certification Exam
The test consists of 120 multiple choice questions. 20 questions are “pretest” only and do not affect your score.
Candidates have up to three hours to complete the test. No break is allowed.
Exam questions are based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline.
You must obtain 30 PDUs in agile topics every three years in order to keep your PMI-ACP certification current.
